StorageMart’s humble beginnings, starting with just one, single store in Columbia, Missouri, has led to unimagined growth: The self-storage company is now the largest privately-owned and family operated company in the world.
Not bad for a fairly simple concept from the Bauman family.
They company is dedicated to providing easy, clean and friendly service for any and everyone looking for self-storage service. Which, suprisingly (or perhaps not, onsideredin the company’s rapid growth), is a lot of people; including many Minnesotans: The company’s continued growth means a brand new storage facility in Chaska.
The new facility will have 544 units, and over 89,000 square feet of rentable space, comprising a large portion of all self-storage options in the small city of Chaska. The facility will be offering a variety of storage options, including climate controlled units and longterm parking for RVs. The facility will be made up of single0level buildings, with drive -through bays for easy access. Additional features the facility will have include individual PIN-code access, video cameras, and bright exterior lighting for security.
President of StorageMart Cris Bauman had this to say about the company and the new facility: “Bringing easy, clean storage service to Chaska is a great move, and we’re thrilled to offer new self storage service to the community. This new location is also a great Shakopee storage solution.”
Which, for all of us that need extra space to store the things that make us who we are, is great news.
