“Art in the Garden” exhibition opens April 26th

We’re (finally) ready to celebrate spring.

Well, I suppose we can’t completely guarantee that there won’t be snow falling from the sky or temperatures that rise above freezing at any point between now and July – this is Minnesota, after all – but we can say that you’ll enjoy going to the Margaret Foss Gallery in Edina for one of the most colorful and dynamic spring flower shows in the Twin Cities, no matter what the weather is like.

The Edina Art Center will transform the gallery into a space of flora and fauna. The “Art in the Garden” exhibition will feature enchanting artwork that ranges from whimsical garden sculptures, jewelry inspired by flora, and richly colored floral paintings and quiet watercolor scenes. Artists that will be featured include Mary Bacon, Kimber Fiebiger, Joel Kaplan, Jim Maki, Mindy Sisk, Adama Sow, and Susan Storck.

“Join us as we celebrate spring with Edina Art Center’s annual ode to warmer weather, bright colors and the love of things green and in the garden,” says General Manager Michael Frey.

There will be an opening reception from 5pm to 8pm on Thursday April 26th at the Edina Art Center’s Margaret Foss Gallery. The Gallery is located at 4701 W. 64th Street. The gallery and opening reception are free and open to the public.

Regular business hours are the following:
Monday to Thursday: 9am to 8pm
Friday: 9am to 5pm
Saturday: 9am to 1pm
