Juggling has been around for centuries; more than just a last-resort clown trick at birthday parties, it’s a complex art form studied, and adored, by people of all ages.

And now is your (last) chance to learn the secrets and details of juggling as performance art: Benjamin Domask, an artist and juggler-extraordinaire that teaches and performs all over the world, has found his way back to Minnesota and is teaching a course at the Minnesota Children’s Museum in downtown St. Paul.

Domask began his career at the Minnesota Renaissance Festival, where juggling is given the historical reverence it deserves, and was also the lead juggling coach for Circus Juventas in St. Paul for a short period before embarking on his worldwide journey. But it isn’t just about juggling: Domask has studied acting, dance, music, and corporeal mime, and is also one of the co-founders of the experimental theater group Curiousita, to bring a fully-fledged, comprehensive routine, incorporating multiple disciplines and crafts, to the stage.

This is your last chance to see him, and learn his craft (at least until he comes back around again in a year, two, or three): The final class for the season is coming up quick. Here’s what you need to know about the event:
