This is the end. The end of 2017, that is. Here’s to cheer the newest of years.
Despite (or maybe because of) the bitter cold, this is one of the most memorable times of the year. The end, and the beginning. Our friends and family are in town (or we’re out of town visiting them in theirs), school is out, and many people have at least a little time off from work. Why not go out with a toast and a bang?
What’s interesting about 2018, is that this will be the freshest of fresh starts as opposed to previous New Years’. How so? 2018 New Year’s Day lands this year on a Monday. Talk about a new beginning. This will be on the newest day of the week, on the newest of years. The Monday of all Mondays and hopefully for the better (best). This makes the celebration that much sweeter and our resolutions that much more interesting.
