The spookiest time of year is almost here, and, as it’s on a Tuesday, we’ll have to have most of our spooky fun the weekend before. Since I’m too old now to Trick-or-Treat, I am excited instead for other Halloween activities, parties, pub crawls, and costume contests all across Minneapolis and St. Paul. If you’re all about dressing up and heading out for a fun night on the town, check out these awesome events coming up a few days before, and a few on, Halloween night.
First Avenue’s Halloween Party & Costume Contest
First Avenue’s annual Halloween party and costume contest happens every year on October 31st. They proclaim to be the best Halloween party in town and offer over $1000.00 in cash prizes for those who dress up and compete for best costume. This year will feature music from: DJ TIIIIIIIIIIP, DJ Espada & Mike 2600, DJ Keezy, DJ Smitty & Roy Freedom, and hosted by Ian Rans.

Terror Fest Halloween Party
Terror Fest Halloween Party will be located one block over from First Avenue at Skyway Theater. This event will host over 50 musical acts, DJs, bands, and musicians across 6 different stages. Alongside musical performances there will be vendors & artists along with The Haunted Cinema. Costumes are encouraged!

Minneapolis 2017 Halloween Bar Crawl
It’s Time To Get Spooky. The annual Minneapolis Halloween Bar Crawl is a great adventure for dressing up and walking the streets up Minneapolis. Each bar included will offer drink specials for those participating in the Bar Crawl. These include: The Pourhouse, Shout House, First Avenue, O’Donovan’s, Gay 90s, Kieran’s Irish Pub, and more.

Boo-Yoncé: A Halloween Bey Dance Party
It’s time to wear your best costume (whether that’s “Bey” inspired or not) and get ready to dance the night away. This entire evening will be playing the best of Beyoncé/Destiny’s Child put on by DJ Fancy Restaurant with an included costume contest at Midnight.

Voodoo CarnEvil Masquerade
Infinite Events presents the Voodoo CarnEvil Masquerade and Pre-Halloween Costume Party. The 27th will host a Halloween there will be a costume contest with cash prizes and drink specials all night to accommodate this dance party extravaganza. Music by DJ Youngstar
