Learn hockey slang terms ahead of tonight’s must-win Wild playoff game

116

The Minnesota Wild are down 3 games to 1. They’ve got to win tonight against the Winnipeg Jets or they’ll be out, in the first round, of the 2018 Stanley Cup playoffs.

And, to the rescue, is none other than… Snoop Dogg?

Not really.

He’s from the West Coast, anyway. What does he know about Minnesota? Let alone our beloved hockey?

Knowledge isn’t really the name of the game here, but the Doggfather, or “the Professor of Pucks” as he is known in this series, did take the time to make a few YouTube videos about hockey for those of us who might need a refresher course on what it’s all about.

And, for those who are familiar with the rapper turned whatever-the-H-E-double-hockey-sticks-he-is-now’s videos on planet earth, nature, and just about anything else he feels like lending his distinct diction and style of speaking to, you know you’re in for at least a couple of LOLs. The latest episode, in which we learn hockey slang and terms, can be watched above.
