Let’s take a moment of silence to remember Gander Mountain.

Okay. Now that we are done with that, we do have some good news about filling the void that was left behind: Camping World, the nation’s largest network of RV-centric retail locations, announced today that it plans to open new SuperCenters in Baxter, Minnesota and Eau Claire, Wisconsin by the first quarter 2019.

As part of Camping World’s growth strategy, the brand is making major investments in the quality of its dealer network. The company’s network will continue to expand and evolve while serving their customers’ outdoor, RV and camping needs. This strategy will range from new strategic acquisitions and new store development, to something as simple as facility upgrades.

Most of the 140 SuperCenters that Camping World owns and operates nationwide are locations specializing in RV sales and service, retail accessories, and its entire portfolio of Good Sam products and services.

Marcus Lemonis, Chairman of Camping World summed up this new strategy as follows: “We have strengths and assets in our portfolio to expand on and are making consistent progress with our growth strategy to position our company for the future. We’re encouraged by recent market analysis and customer feedback and will continue to research new opportunities to deliver on areas best for the outdoor enthusiasts’ community.”

Although there are few additional details that need to be worked out, like store addresses and opening dates for new sites that have been announced over the past month, Camping World has also announced plans to open new SuperCenters in multiple states across the country: There are plans for Super Centers in in Augusta, GA, Marion, IL, and Huber Heights, OH by the end of 2018 along with locations in Lafayette, LA, Rockford, IL and Wichita, KS also by first quarter of 2019.

Are you a seasoned and professional RV sales associates, technicians, or retail support employee? If so Camping World is looking for someone just like you to assist with locations across the country.
