Fashion Week MN-

The second week of Fashion Week MN kicks off with I am Fabulous, a celebratory brunch and a show featuring models who are 50+ years old.  Sunday, April 23rd 11am-2pm @ The Hewing Hotel, Mpls. More info www.fashionweekmn.com

ChefTender-

The ChefTender series with Chef Justin Sutherland, Tuesday, April 25th 8pm-12am @ Constantine, Mpls.  This super cool event gets local chefs behind the bar and all tips go to No Kid Hungry.  A program focused on making sure all kids have breakfast at school, ensuring they start the day off right.  Be sure to order the $5 bar burger 😉

Concerts-

Silversun Pickups Tuesday April 25th @ 7pm First Avenue, Mpls

Get Involved-

Mayoral Candidates Forum Wednesday April 26th 6pm-9pm @ Saint Paul Neighborhood Network, STP.  This casual event is open to the public to come and mingle with candidates.  Their goal is for the candidates to be able to speak to the citizens about what they plan to do about the issues that impact the community.

Concerts-

The XX Friday April 28th @ 7:30pm @ The Palace Theater.  If you haven’t been there yet, make sure to check out this newly renovated and historic venue.

Local Art-

Saint Paul Art Crawl is happening this weekend, April 28th-30th Lowertown, Stp.  A great way to explore local artists and a beautiful artist community.  Visit www.saintpaulartcrawl.org/ to download your free Metro Transit pass and get a complete calendar, map, and guide to help with your art crawling.

Local Sports-

MN United FC game Saturday April 29th @ 7pm TCF Bank Stadium, Mpls.  Go get rowdy with some friends or family at a United FC game.  This fast growing MN Tradition is a always a fun time. More info at www.mnufc.com

Farm to Table-

St. Paul Farmers Market starts this weekend and is open Saturday 6am-1pm and Sunday 8am-1pm.  This place is the definition of farmers market.  Everything has to be sourced from 75mi radius and has organic produce, plants, flower and some hard to find heirloom veggies.  Go early spring for the most beautiful starter vegetables.  find more info at www.stpaulfarmersmarket.com

Fun for the kiddos-

Como Town is Open! This tyke-sized amusement park opened for the season on April 22nd.  You can find hours, pricing and an events calendar at www.comotown.com

Minnesota Zoo – Haven’t had a chance to go out to visit the ‘Farm Babies’ exhibit yet?  The warm weather is just starting but this exhibit will end April 30th.  Visit a young, town-like  farmscape of horses, goats, pigs, cows, rabbits and chickens! Feed the cutest baby goats before they’ve grown! more info at www.mnzoo.org
