If you love getting out whether it’s a Tuesday or Sunday for a beer or two and feel like your trivia skills are up to par, well you’re going to love these Twin Cities restaurants, bars, and breweries. You’ll get the chance to exercise that brain power and show everyone else what you really learned in grade school.

There are plenty of places around Minneapolis and St Paul you can show off the wealth of knowledge that may go unnoticed in the workplace, but here’s a few of our favorites you should make the trip to:

Fair State Brewery Cooperative (Wednesdays at 7pm)

Hosted by member-owners Tommy Helgen and Kat Sutton, sip on their marvelous sour beers and play a few rounds of trivia at this Northeast Minneapolis taproom. Get there early as tables fill up fast (and the space is limited), and make sure you come prepared!

Amsterdam Bar & Hall (Monday nights at 7pm)

Join Sierra and Jiffy on Mondays as your hosts for with Trivia Mafia bring their antics to Amsterdam Bar. Trivia Mafia is difficult, and really exercises that noggin of yours in some intense rounds of general knowledge, pop culture, historical events, and geography. An extensive drink list along with Monday night specials along with the chance to get your picture on the Trivia Mafia website make this the ideal place to test your skills.

331 Club (Sundays at 8PM)

Trivia Mafia also joins the legendary 331 club on Sundays for more intense rounds of questions. Since the owners also own Amsterdam Bar (above), you can see where the two venues get the inspiration from. Known for its free music and dim atmosphere, you’ll have a great time testing your useless knowledge with hosts Sean and Chuck, who also is cofounder of Trivia Mafia.

Republic (Tuesdays at 9pm)

Enjoy a long beer list and fantastic food deals before diving your team into some late night trivia on Tuesday nights at Republic. Munch on some fish and chips and see if you can come out on top down the in 7 corners area of Minneapolis.

Herkimer Pub & Brewery (Sundays at 8PM)

Sit down with Mr. Jameson or sip on some Herkimer craft brews on Sunday nights with a team at Bad Ass Trivia. Compete for gift cards and other prizes while testing your trivial skills before heading back to work on Monday. Don’t forget to order some food, the Herk doesn’t mess around!

Merlin’s Rest Pub (Wednesdays at 7:30pm)

This traditional British tavern is known for its pints and malt whiskey, but if you’re in the uptown area on Wednesday nights, make sure you get a table to play some Pub Quiz. Make sure you know your history of Britain, as well as everything else you can think of.
