The Minnesota United Football Club has a stadium lined up for 2018. For the time while the stadium under construction, they are currently playing matches at the University of Minnesota’s TCF Bank Stadium.
Here is a compilation of bars, breweries, and pubs located within a few miles of the pitch, so even if you can’t make it into the game you can watch them there for every home and away match.
Many of these are official watching party locations for the MNU Dark Clouds. The Dark Clouds are Minnesota’s largest independent soccer support group; wherever Minnesota plays, “the Dark Clouds follow.”

Nomad World Pub
The Nomad world pub is one of several bars that hold official MNU watch parties. Even if you’re not making it to the game you can come watch it with the Dark Cloud’s for every home and away game. The Nomad is one of only two bars in the twin cities that offers the Surly Rising North Pale Ale which is the official surly beer of the Minnesota United.
612Brew
612 Brewery is another official watch party for the Dark Cloud’s. They offer a wide variety of Minnesota made beers with each MNU match broadcasted on their TV’s. Join them for every home and away game.
Surly Brewing Co.
Surly Brewery is home to the Rising North Pale Ale. This beer was specifically made for The Minnesota United. Come on in before kickoff to have some of the finest craft brews in town with a less than one-mile walk to TCF Bank Stadium.
Lake Monster Brewery
Lake Monster Brewery in St. Paul is another official watch party location for the Dark Clouds. For every away game match they offer select beers for just $3. On the flip side, every home game day match they offer that same deal for the whole day.
Playoffs Sports Lounge
Playoffs Sports Lounge is located off University Ave in Minneapolis. Along with the other official watch party bars for MNU they offer discounts during games as well. For every away match come and enjoy $4 22 oz. select mugs and %10 off their entire food menu.
Town Hall Brewery
Town Hall Brewery offers $3 pints for every game day. These consist of their signature house beers and 10% off all food. All other Town Hall locations offer %10 off all food any time with official Dark Cloud’s member cards.
Crooked Pint Ale House
Join the crooked Pint Ale house for happy hour before any MNU match with various drink specials including beers from around the state and country. Even when Minnesota isn’t playing, come on out to watch the US soccer teams play. Crooked Pint is the official bar of The American Outlaws, Minneapolis/St. Paul Chapter.
Republic
Located on the west bank of the University of Minnesota, Republic has an abundance of tap lines from around the world as well as local. Come on out for a pint before the match because the stadium is just a couple miles away.
Blarney’s
Blarney’s is located in Dinkytown just a few blocks away from TCF Bank Stadium. This college bar makes for a great stop just before the match kicks off.
Ray J’s
Ray J’s is located just a few miles from the stadium in Northeast Minneapolis. With plenty of tap lines and TV sets to see the game this bar makes for a great experience before or during matches. They also offer shuttle rides to and from sporting events.
