Rummage is the ultimate pop-up market. Now in its second year, Rummage has gathered over 70 local vendors, artists, and designers to participate in the two-day event to celebrate the people and businesses who are doing amazing things in our community. From the creators of The Beer Dabbler and Growler Magazine, the idea behind Rummage is to build an event that showcases Minnesota businesses in one space and help the community learn about these fantastic vendors. Not to mention you’ll be able to snag exclusive deals only offered during this weekend event.

Event Coordinator Jordan Ashbacher highlights the advantage for these businesses is to create a “pop-up shop in a real-life setting that builds relationships between people and collaboration with other businesses.” Rummage brings awareness to the amazing talent we have here in Minnesota where these businesses get the opportunity to showcase their unique personalities. Ashbacher explains, “For instance, I live in St. Paul and it can be difficult to get to Minneapolis to shop and explore.” Rummage makes it easy for shoppers to check out and discover everything in one place. Some of the great retailers you’ll find at Rummage include Great Lakes Clothing Collection, MY SISTER, Handsome Cycles, Minnesota Awesome, Mill City Fineries, Karma Boutique, Minny & Paul, Stunt Puppy, and so, so many more.

But Rummage is more than just an incredible shopping extravaganza.

Ashbacher wants to create an event that feels like “a hangout for the weekend the entire family can enjoy.”

During the two days, you’ll indulge in delicious food from food trucks like Xstream Cuisine and Habanero Tacos, enjoy Bent Paddle beer, live music, and jump between family-friendly activities that include an inflatable obstacle course, face painting, pinball machines, and activities hosted by Leonardo’s Basement. Both kids and adults can also enjoy free salsa lessons from Salsa Del Soul and entertainment from Koo Koo Kangaroo.

Live music will be performed all day throughout the event. Rummage is especially proud to highlight musicians with ties to Minnesota like Nick Jordan, Lady Lark, Dan Israel, and Enemy Planes.

Ashbacher hopes to see Rummage expand and wants to continue to add and feature more amazing local vendors and musicians. By coming to Rummage you’ll help build community, support local businesses, and of course, score the deals of the season.

Taking place Friday, September 29 from 4pm-10pm and Saturday, September 30 from 10am-10pm at the West End Market in the MN State Fairgrounds, you can purchase tickets in advance online for $8 or $10 at the door. Kids 14 and under are free. The best part is you’ll receive a wristband that grants you re-entry throughout the entire two-day event so you’ll be able to enjoy music on both days and shop each vendor at your own pace.

Purchase tickets and find details on all vendors, music, and food at RummageMN.
