Skaalvenn Distillery

Skaalvenn! That’s Norwegian for “Cheers, Friends!” Located on the edges of Northwestern Minneapolis, Skaalvenn Distillery offers four spirits. These include Vodka, Rum, Aquavite and their newest edition, Habanero Rum. Skaalvenn currently does not have a cocktail lounge, however you can find all of their products on various shelves across the entire state! Owners Tyson and Mary Schnitker are planning on launching an on site tasting room sometime during early 2018.

Copperwing Distillery

Copperwing Distillery is owned and operated under three friends Chris Palmisano, Kyle Kettering, and Brian Idelkope. During a night of cocktailing and constructive conversation in 2014 The idea of their own micro-distillery was born. Since then Chris, Kyle and Brian have worked relentlessly to make their dreams come true. Copperwing now creates three styles of spirits including vodka, whiskey, and and interesting spirit called “Vodsky.” Vodsky is said to be a clear spirit distilled under 190 so it isn’t quite a vodka yet has elements of whiskey within it. Copperwing does offer a cocktail room for patrons to come and enjoy all of their spirits.

Bent Brewstillery

You read that right, there’s a brew in front of that distillery. Bent Brewstillery is a hybrid entity that consists of both a micro-brewery and a micro-distillery, alas we have a brewstillery. Their mission is simple, “We want to bring great adult beverages to the public.” They offer dozens of various beer style combinations as well as hand-crafted unique spirits including: gin, rum, liquer, whiskey and an Irish-Style Poitín (pronounced “pot-cheen”).

Tattersall Distilling

Tattersall believes in crafting the best — in life, at the still and behind the bar. Located in the heart of North East Minneapolis connected to the Thorp Building, Tattersall has been perfecting cocktails since 2015.They create an array of spirits which includes:  rum, gin, vodka, whiskey, bourbon, aquavit, orange crema and pommeau. The atmosphere is engaging and inviting while their team is brilliant and masters of their craft. They make one of the best old fashions in town.

Norseman Distillery

The original, legally owned and operated distillery located in the heart of the Twin Cities, Norseman Distillery offers many unique varieties of spirits. Norseman has pushed the envelope with crafted spirits and cocktails. They offer three styles of gin including: organic vapor infused gin, Norseman strength gin and a strawberry rhubarb gin. With their three styles of gin they also offer several other spirits which consists of: a variety of liqueurs, vodka, rum and they are currently working on a bourbon.

11 Wells

11 Wells distillery has taken advantage of the old Hamm’s brewery in St Paul sharing the Payne Avenue Corridor along with Cook St. Paul, Tongue in Cheek, Ace Hardware, Flat Earth Brewery, and Urban Organics. 11 Wells distills Wheat Whiskey, Boiler Room Rum and Minnesota 13 White Whiskey made from a corn developed at the U of M in 1888. Although plans for a tasting room on site have been postponed until 2018 11 Wells spirits are mixed around town in places like Spoon and Stable and Tongue and Cheek. 11 Wells is also available for purchase online as well as throughout the state and metro area at various wine & spirit shops.

Wander North Distillery

Founded in 2013 by Brian Winter, Wander North Distillery is the first veteran owned distillery ever founded in Minnesota. Locally sourced ingredients from across the state of Minnesota help create everything Wander North has to offer. Production and distribution began in August of 2014 with the following year they have opened its doors to a tasting room located on site. They offer local mash whiskey, gin, applejack and vodka.
