GamerBlast: Super Smash Bros tournament coming for ages 12 and under

Do you know a kid that is 12 years old or younger that is a master of Nintendo’s Super Smash Bros? Well, tell them to warm up their thumbs and get ready for the ultimate tournament to test their skills.

The tournament takes place on December 29 int the Club Prior Community Room at 6210 Eagle Creek Ave SE in Prior Lake. The event is hosted by the City of Prior Lake, in collaboration with the Prior Lake Library, and the Scott County Teen Advisory Board.

The tournament will be broken up into the following times and age groups: 2:15pm for ages 5 to 8, and 3:15pm for ages 9 to 12. Anyone under the age of 8 will need to be accompanied by a parent. There will be prizes and snacks to be won as well as gamers climb to the top of the tournament bracket.

As well as screen time at the tournament, there will be activities and crafts to make and take, Minecraft snacks and projects, a Pokemon Scavenger hunt, and plenty more.
