The Twin Cities aren’t generally known as the fashion meccas that, say, New York City, Los Angeles, or London, are. But that’s kind of the point. Our local designers are doing a lot of exciting things under the radar, low-key creating new looks, styles, and aesthetics unlike anything found anywhere else; breaking boundaries without the pressure, or the rigidity, of the coasts.
The world will catch on one day. But until then, it’s all ours.
It’s something unique, certainly. Spreading across the Twin Cities metro since 2015, #FWMN is a showcase of the very best in Minnesota design talent, and the purest taste of local inspiration and creativity in style.
