meeting on Bumble, there are infinite possibilities for dates within the twin cities. Here is a compilation of potential ideas, activities and places to keep in mind and explore for your next date night outing. There is something here for everyone with any budget.

Minnehaha Regional Park

Minnehaha Regional Park is located in southern Minneapolis. This makes for a great day date for any couple looking to get outside and enjoy the sun while getting a bit of exercise. This is one of Minneapolis’ oldest parks that features a 53-foot waterfall. The park includes a rental facility that offers an array of bike styles including tandem bikes called “Surrey’s” so you and your date can peddle around together. These can be rented by the hour included with self-guided tours around the park. After you work up an appetite from pedaling your legs off, head over to Sea Salt Eatery. This is an on-site seasonal restaurant that serves fresh seafood, wine, and beer daily.

Loring Park and Sebastian Joe’s

If you’re on a tight budget and not looking to spend a lot of money there is a solution. With the summer solstice upon us plants are fully blooming more and more everyday. A good way to embrace the outdoors within the heart of the city is to take a scenic stroll through Loring Park located in the southwestern part of Minneapolis. The park was renamed in honor of Charles M. Loring who was known as the “Father of Minneapolis Parks.” It contains a small lake/pond with several pathways for walking and biking. There are also two famous art pieces located on site one is the “Dandelion Fountain” and the other is a statue of Norwegian composer Ole Bull. Once you’re finished walking around admiring nature and art, head down Hennepin Avenue a few blocks to Sebastian Joe’s for ice cream at one of Minnesota’s oldest ice cream shops. They offer several home made flavors ice cream you can enjoy in a shake, malt, sunday, or in a hand made waffle cone.
