Who doesn’t love a good flea market or farmers’ market on a warm Minnesota weekend? We only get a couple months of real sunshine here, so get out and make the most of it! These are some awesome spots that you need to check out — make sure you look at dates and hours because they are all over the map.

Hamel Lions Flea Market

Sundays | First Sunday in May through the last Sunday in September | Website

Location: Medina Entertainment Center, 500 Hwy 55, Medina, MN 55340

A great spot to find all sorts of goodies. Also, in late June, the Lions Club had their flea market supply trailer stolen from a parking lot during a scheduled meeting. Sounds like a good time to get out and support their efforts while browsing some really neat finds.

Wright County Swapper’s Meet

April – May on Saturdays only | June – August on Saturdays and Sundays | September – October on Saturdays only | Website

Averaging 200 – 300 sellers every Saturday, the Wright County Swappers Meet has evolved into one of the largest outdoor markets in the state. Most sellers are ready to start selling at sunrise through mid-afternoon. Free admission and free parking. With the large number of vendors — if you can name it, you can find it here.

St Paul Farmers’ Market (about 15 different locations)

Check out the Woodbury location: Sundays | June 11 – October 29 from 8am – 1pm | Website

There are approximately 15 locations, which take place on different days/times. You are bound to find something you like at any of the various spots. Operated by the St. Paul Growers’ Association, only fresh, locally grown produce is allowed to be sold directly from the grower to the consumer. You will find bakery goods, cheese, various meats, maple syrup, eggs, flowers and many others.

Elko Traders’ Market

July 8th – 9th | Sat 8am-5pm & Sun 9am-5pm | $6 admission fee | Free parking | Website

Location: 10675 260th St E, Elko, MN 55020

About 30 minutes south of Minneapolis, just off of I-35, this event will be ready to rock on July 8th and 9th. There will be plenty of food/drink vendors to make sure you have plenty of energy to explore.

Post Road Flea Market

Location: Follow Hwy 5 to the MPLS Airport; take the Post Road exit and follow the signs. (who doesn’t love a little mystery?)

A smaller market with 12+ vendors every Saturday. I say it’s worth a look, because why not?

Downtown Oronoco Gold Rush Days

August 18-20 | Fri-Sat 7am – 6pm | Sun 7am – 2pm | Website

Location: Just go to Oronoco, MN and you will find it.

This one is much closer to Rochester than it is the Twin Cities, but if you are looking for a little road trip on this August weekend, you’ve found one option! Free admission, shopping, live music, and hundreds of dealers from all over the nation. Not up for the drive? This show was named as one of the top 6 antique shows to attend each year by Country Woman Magazine in 2015. How about now?

Minneapolis Farmers Market

Northeast Farmers Market

Well, Northeast MPLS is a fresh spot, so you should expect all sorts of fresh stuff to buy/eat.

Haupt Antiek Market

Saturdays: 9am-5pm

I have not been to the Haupt Antiek Market, but it appears that each month has a different theme. That means you can expect to find different (and awesome) things every time you go!

Junk Bonanza

This is a great spot for antiquers/junkers/flea-market-enthusiasts. And it’s indoors which ensures your experience will be a comfortable one.

Antique Spectacular Show & Flea Market

September 30 – October 1 | $7 admission fee (includes both days) | Website

Located at the Minnesota State Fair Grounds

Expect to see 100+ vendors offering antiques, collectibles, china, records, books, signs, and toys (among many other items). The admission fee gets you access for both days as long as your stamp is still there — so don’t shower or wash your hands after the first day!
