It’s that time of year again: the NFL is back and has sports fans energized all across the country. And, when it comes to watching football, especially as a fantasy league owner, one TV is never enough (unless you have NFL RedZone, or you go to the actual game).

So unless you know a guy who knows a guy, a bar is the next best thing for creating that football stadium ambiance.

Whether you’re a local, just visiting, or new to the area, we’ve got you non-Viking fans covered. In no particular order, here are some of the best bars around the Minneapolis area that are sure to keep spectators satisfied.

Bunny’s Bar & Grill

Location: 5916 Excelsior Blvd, St. Louis Park, MN 55416 and 34 13th Ave NE, Minneapolis, MN 55413

Two locations means you’re never far in the Twin Cities. Known for their burgers, sandwiches and craft beer, Bunny’s Bar & Grill has over 30 Samsung HDTVs at their St Louis Park location, and 15 at their new NE MPLS location.

Get in line for the FREE Bloody Mary or screwdriver with purchase of a signature breakfast, offered 7 days a week. Lucky for late risers: breakfast is served until 1pm on Sundays.

Be sure to stick around for other great specials like the Complimentary Nightly Taco Bar and 6 wings for $2.50.

Gabes by the Park

Location: 991 Lexington Ave, Saint Paul, MN 55103

This place is a go-to for Cheeseheads. The atmosphere resembles that of tailgating at Lambeau Field, where the food is delicious, the drinks are ice cold, and everyone feels like family. Perfect.

Oh, and a Bloody bar? You betcha. Both Saturdays and Sundays, from 11am-5pm, you can build your own. And it comes with the necessary beer chaser.

Herkimer Pub & Brewery

Location: 2922 Lyndale Avenue South, Minneapolis, MN 55408

This is another favorite for Packer fans. Herkimer Pub & Grill has 14 TVs, including 4 projector screens, a full-service bar which serves craft beer brewed on-site, along with beer specials and a game day menu.

Tiffany Sports Lounge

Location: 2051 Ford Parkway, St. Paul, MN 55116

I’ve heard all NFC fans are welcome here, but I know Packers and Kansas Jayhawks fans enjoy this place the most, so best of luck. Tiffany Sports Lounge features a pub-style menu, craft beers and a weekend Bloody Mary bar from 11am-6pm.

Park Tavern

Location: 3401 Louisiana Ave. South St. Louis Park, MN 55426

This place features casual dining and specials during all NFL games (no matter which team you’re rooting for). They also have party rooms to host events, arcade games, pool tables, and a bowling alley – perfect distractions for when you’re team is eating dirt.

Alary’s

Location: 139 7th St E, St. Paul, MN 55101

Alary’s is home away from home for Chicago Bears fans. They have 30 50” HDTVs, so there’s no bad seat in the house, a large selection of draft beers on tap (most in downtown St. Paul), free parking in the ramp next door, and shuttle service to all sports stadiums on gameday.

They don’t have a menu but they do serve pizza, and often have a food truck outside, and often host “tailgating” cookouts on their patio out back.

Patrick McGovern’s Pub & Restaurant

Location: 225 7th St. West, St. Paul, MN

McGovern’s is home to the Steelers fans of Minnesota. Featuring 20 TVs, and a broad selection of hometown eats and fantastic pub food, it’s a great place to kick back and watch the game. Or jump to your feet to curse out the latest call. Your choice. Bonus: Win a FREE appetizer or shot when you play Steeler Football Trivia.
